There are many things that affect the birth of babies before they are actually born into the mist of this world. While genetically, they are already different than any other baby even by the slightest bit, common everyday factors have the capability to alter these conditions and can make a change. These changes can be dramatic or slight, but this essay will describe some of them and what they do. Some effects that are taken into account on babies are if the mother drinks, smokes, or does any kind of unneeded drugs. While good effects may lie in positive habits such as walks and eating correctly, the majority of these noticeable differences lie in aforementioned.
When a mother drinks alcohol, she may not get drunk if she drinks below the limit for humans. However, since the baby is a developing creature, it will get as drunk as the mother, and can be dangerously overwhelming to the baby if vast amounts of alcohol are exposed to the babies. This is why on beer bottles; they have warnings stating that mothers should not drink alcohol under many risks that can affect the capabilities of the newborn. Drunk women can affect the baby as well, for the tissues within the baby cannot immediately regenerate as fast as if it were a complete being, and overwhelm the baby’s intestine. Some of these effects are the same as if it were on an adult human, but on a youth is worse, and on a fetus is severe.
Smoking is considered to be bad on all conditions. When applied during pregnancy, some of the nicotine and smoke can affect the baby dangerously as well. Some examples can be destroying the breathing rate of the baby, and even intensifying the rhythmic motions the baby emulates inside of the womb as it struggles from this effect. Warning signs are planted on cigarettes the same way they are on beer bottle, and can damage unborn babies. Some of their lungs may be impaired even after they are born, and can last throughout their entire lifetime unless the process is reversed through risky surgery and other contraptions to recover the baby.
Illegal drugs are horrible in every sense of the word, whether they are affecting unborn babies, or adult humans. These drugs have such a dangerous effect on the adult human that when affecting the fetus, can cause dangerous things, such as mental retardation. If it gets worse, a physical change such as a mutation may occur to the baby, causing even more vicious effects to happen afterwards. This includes missing or sticking body parts, and can lead to special treatment from others. It may also affect the nervous system, such as the inability to feel things, or cause huge punctures inside the brain where senses can be thrown off on some conditions.
A damaged mother can also affect the way a baby grows. Since a baby must remain in the womb and be linked to the placenta in order to absorb the nutrients it needs, if any part of this is damaged, the baby’s life can be put in peril. Since some babies can get malnutrition, it may come out incorrectly. Premature birth is also a condition from a damaged mother, in most cases involving immediate birth of the baby or else the parent will have a life-risking threat on her back. The death of mother while the baby is still inside of the womb is also another factor to add into consideration. If this case ever occurs, the only way to save the baby may be to open up the mother’s stomach, and rescue the baby with risky surgery that can throw off at any time.
Abortion is one of the more obvious considerations to be put when talking about the effects of the birth for babies. This destroys the embryo or fetus while it is still developing inside of the mother’s womb, and eliminates any chance of the baby ever being completely alive in all senses of the word. The baby then comes out of the mother through excretion forcefully after it is identified as an “invader.” In some cases, the baby may not die immediately and suffer massive pain, which is a condition soon to be put away. These are the negative outlooks so far.

The previous parts explained so far have faced the negative consequences technically occurring to the offspring. However, if there are ways to negatively affect the baby, then there are also ways to positively affect the baby. These come rather rare and have fewer urges than the other parts of parental care, but they will greatly benefit the baby—whether the assistance be little or wide. · Get early prenatal care, even before one becomes pregnant. This way, when it does arrive, the parents will know exactly how to tend to the fetus’ needs. · Eat a well-balanced diet, including a vitamin supplement that contains folic acid. When the baby is within development, they are what their parents eat. · Exercise regularly with your doctor's permission. This helps to keep heart rate up for both the parent and the baby, including more activity within development. · Avoid alcohol, cigarettes, and illicit drugs, and limit caffeine. These are rather obvious, as the pregnant women should keep these to a limit even normally. · Avoid x-rays, hot tubs, and saunas. While these may be pleasant conditions under most cases, having it during pregnancy can negatively affect the baby. · Avoid infections. Minor infections are not much of a threat when the female is not pregnant, but weak infections have the capability to attack the developing fetus. Overall, there are many factors that affect the development of the fetus, before and during pregnancy. These effects can control the outcome of the baby from a range of slight changes to vast ones. While these effects may be considered to be good or bad, every baby is different than the other. Even during birth, a parent can accidentally cause negative changes to the fetus living inside of them or deliberately create positive health benefits for the babies. Development depends on the parent.
