Pokémon EX Trading Card Game! Acid Rain or Energy Bug?
In a rainy, boring day, a 13-year-old young boy was lying on a green couch. In front of him; about ten feet away; was a thirty-six inch wide television. He was Vietnamese, making him have tan skin, brown, squinted eyes, short, black hair, Eczema diseased skin, and a dozed, bored to death expression on his face. He was wearing a black T- Shirt, blue jeans, and a gold Buddha chain. The teenager was holding a sapphire, deck of cards. He was shuffling those cards, repeatedly.
“ Man, today is so boring!” he complained in a deep voice as he was scratching his head. “ Gosh, no one freaking plays the d**n Pokémon Trading Card Game anymore! I have beaten everyone on my block and everyone is intimidated by me! That is harsh, you know?” He started to sit up and grabbed the black television remote control. Pressing the “ Power” Button, the tube flashed on, revealing Channel 4 (NBC) news. The announcer on the television had started speaking as upbeat news music began to lure the spectator to watch it.
“ Live, on the Today Show!” the announcer began in a low, deep, manly voice. “ At Rockefeller Center! Katie Couric, and Matt Lauer! Today!”
“ Gosh, that announcer is so annoying! I hate news shows!” exclaimed the Vietnamese boy. He scratched his head. “ Matt Lauer is friggin' ugly! I always wondered why Ba or Father always watches this.” He was about to turn off the television.
“ Hello, I am Matt Bowler, the woman next to me is Katie Couric!” a man with grayish to black hair started speaking. “ Well, today, we have some news at the Nintendo World! Katie will fill you up on that. Katie?”
" Hmm, this looks interestng..." he said with little interest. " But Nintendo World is full of " Noobs" anyways. They are so igonorant, and they do not even know what is Effort Value, or EV training is. It gets me so mad!"
“ Thanks Matt,” Katie Couric started to speak. Well, the revival of the Pokémon Trading Card Game is starting today! Right across the street from us is Nintendo World!”
“ Hmm,” the teenager on the sofa started. He had a change in mood. “ Seems eye-catching. Maybe I’ll go there!” The kid was energized. He yelled to his mother, who was in the kitchen cooking some Vietnamese Pho. “ Ma! Can I get my Metro Card to go down into the Nintendo World Store?” He was speaking in Vietnamese.
“ Sure Jimmy Dang!” his mother started speaking in the Vietnamese language. It was melodic. She came in the room with a green wallet, which was camouflauged like an army suit with different shades of green. Pulling out a light green, Metro Card, or bus pass, she informed her son. “ This one is usable. Make sure you come back!”
“ Sure Ma!” Jimmy started speaking. “ I wouldn’t forget to comeback. What do you think I am, ditzy? I will see you soon,” He shut off the television. Grabbing his key chain from a key nail and a black umbrella, he left the apartment labeled 5F. While walking down the stairs he was looking at two decks of cards. He thought quietly in his mind. “ Now which deck should I use? My Acid Rain Deck, or my Energy Bug deck?” While deciding, he walked down the ten flights of darkish grayish stairs. " Oh, well, I will decide on the train, you know?" He thought to himself.
After arriving outside of his red apartment building, Jimmy looked up. He thought to himself. " I will decide to use my reliable deck, my Energy Bug Deck, you know?" He walked up a steep hill of grey sidewalk blocks. Most of them had dark, black, gum. They were dried, so the youngster did not worry about stepping on them. " I hate those Americans..." He whispered to himself pessimistically. " If they had accidently stepped on this gum, they would complain, you know?"
Our hero arrived to a train or subway station. " 205 Street." He read out loud. "
