Darkloid Gorigan vs. Snagem Head Gonzap
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
[Gorigan walks in, pounds his chest rapidly like a gorilla with a yelling mouth, then does the remix record pose] “I left Cipher, Enigma Shadow, but my best decision was leaving you! Go Gligar and Slowomni!” Two muscle forced PokéBalls released Gligar, and Slowomni, a Slowpoke evolution with the Shellder as its bellybutton, much fatter than usual as it was lying down on its back but eyes with no pupils and evil colored skin.
[Gonzap rushes in, throws two punches in the air with his legs rising with the force, then does an uppercut to confident victory] “If I didn’t find you when you were young back then, you wouldn’t even be alive today. Go Vileplume and Rafflsite!” his PokéBalls released Vileplume and Rafflsite, the large, purple and evil Rafflesia parasite with wavering tentacles and emotionless face.
“Gligar, Earthquake! Slowomni, Pain Spell!”
Gligar spun twice and unleashed an earthquake shattering the floor to hit the other three Pokémon, but not too much to Vileplume and Rafflsite as it did to Slowomni, Gonzap looked in anger at his opponent as the damage of the waves almost knocked him as well. The floor quickly recovered itself after the impact.
“Knowing you, you would protect your Slowomni! Something’s up…Vileplume, Magical Pollen Slowomni! Rafflsite, Life Drain Gligar!”
Vileplume released pollen from its plume with many colors and it hit Slowomni, but suddenly Slowomni glowed red and so did Vileplume. Suddenly, the Grass type fell asleep to the surprise of Gonzap, and adding more as the big Slowomni’s wounds healed from the earthquake it suffered earlier and Vileplume had damage wounds on it.
“How did you do that?” demanded Gonzap.
“You should always know me as the kind of person who would fend myself to defend the Pokémon in battle whenever they were using Earthquake, but this time, instead of using Protect, I decided to use ‘Pain Spell’! What it does is transfer the effect that would have been done to the user to a Pokémon that attacked it- and the damage already done to it last turn!”
Rafflsite managed to snag Gligar with its many purple tentacles and ensnare it, draining energy from it with a white glow until it has only one left, then threw it back. Gorigan jumped in fury of his Gligar’s pain.
“Well there’s no way you’re gonna protect yourself against that! This time you didn’t use Protect like the others!”
“That’s not gonna stop me...my move. Gligar, use Earthquake! Slowomni, use Shadow Quake! Twice the fun!”
“Same thing again? Well we better watch out for that Shadow Quake. Vileplume’s asleep, so I can’t do anything, but Rafflsite, use Life Drain on Slowking.”
Gligar jumped up in the air and did an Earthquake, slightly damaging Vileplume and Rafflsite while greatly hitting Slowomni, but Vileplume bounced back easily and was snoring bubbles away.
Slowomni jumped up in the air and sent a powerful black wave of energy from its backside onto the ground, crashing over Vileplume and Rafflsite, knocking them both out. Gligar was somehow affected by the groundbreaking attack and fainted as well.
“How did my Gligar faint? It’s a Ground type, but the Flying should protect it!”
Gonzap returned both of his Pokémon back and answered, “That’s because Shadow Quake is a Shadow-type, not a Ground. If Slowomni used Earthquake instead, it wouldn’t have knocked out my Vileplume or Rafflsite, but your Gligar would have still been alive. It would have died in one hit due to only having one HP left anyways. For the mean time, go Electrode and Brainiac!” Gonzap sent out Electrode, and Braniac who was shaped and looked like a brain or a sea muscle with purple veins- dotted eyes and a smiling face.
“Grrr…I guess I made a mistake on that account…go Snowum!” Gorigan sent out what looked like a snowman, except it was only two layers with a hat on and its head was carried by one of its hand, arms made of razor sharp needles sticking out.
“Electrode use Thunder Bouncer on Snowum and Braniac use Psycho Morale!”
“Snowum use Snow Avalanche while Slowomni use Shadow Quake!”
Braniac somehow was the quickest and made Electrode glow purple along with itself, then the electric type had its Special Attack and Speed increased by two levels. Electrode used its Thunder Bouncer, which made it bounce in the air and come falling down on Snowum, completely destroying the snowman.
“I already squashed your snowman! Playtime’s over!”
“Ehh…who cares,” Gorigan wasn’t returning his Snowum back into its PokéBall. “Slowomni, continue on with the attack you were about to do.”
Slowomni jumped in the air, landing flat on its backside and causing shadow shockwaves to explode on Electrode and Braniac, causing a lot of damage as they both got back up, but the snow pile whom is Snowum got tossed back a little.
Gorigan chuckled. “Time for you to continue on my Earthquake plan! Snowum, regenerate and use Snow Avalanche!”
Snowum was a snow pile, but was put back together like toy pieces back to what it was, laughing this time. Snowum jumped in the air and caused a snowfall to come, strange as they were both inside, hitting Slowomni directly and knocking the big lug out, also damaging Electrode and Braniac a lot.
“How did you do that?”
“Simple. When you ‘knocked out’ my Snowum the first time, it became a snow lump, making it impervious to any other attacks as it was invincible for the one move, but at the cost of giving up one layer of its body, leaving me with two when it was put back together. I’m allowed to do this one more time until only the head is left. So what was that you were saying earlier about my Earthquake strategy?”
“Don’t get a swelled head about yourself because that ‘plan’ of yours knocked out your own Slowomni, and my Pokémon still have a little fight left in them!”
“Who cares about what you think?” Gorigan pounded his chest, sending out Stovoil, a Fire type looking like a stove opening and closing its mouth which was the part where you put the food in respectively and red hands set on fire finished with an angry face as black steam was sent soaring out of the releasers, polluting the air. “The Black Steam ability of my Stovoil burns the Special Attack of all of your Pokémon if they’re not a Fire or Poison type, and yours doesn’t fit that condition!”
Gonzap’s Pokémon began coughing- along with Snowum, lowering their Special Attack points after the whooping.
“Well that takes down the Special Attack of your Snowum as well, genius!”
“Thanks for the reply, and now Snowum, use Snow Mister while Stovoil uses Volcanic Quaker on all of them!”
“Fine then, Electrode Thunder Ball Stovoil while Braniac Psycho Morale!”
Braniac used its attack to make Electrode stronger, and then Electrode charged up a yellow sparking ball of energy and hit Stovoil, causing moderate damage.
“As you can see, even though Psycho Morale boosts Special Attack and Speed by two points, it only works once per turn like Helping Hand, and Black Steam can really make all the difference! Now it’s my Pokémon’s turn to take you down!”
Stovoil boiled up with rage and sweat ran down its body, it jumped high into the air and leaped down for a Volcanic Quaker which caused flames to spurt from the ground broken by the powerful attack and hit Gonzap’s Pokémon, along with the melting Snowum losing one layer to only have its head left. After the move, Electrode was knocked out, while Braniac being Water type it survived. Snowum was only a head left as the last parts of its hand melted with the lava.
“Return Electrode, go Kuwagata!” Gonzap released a silver-shining bug with a purple pattern on and pincers right in the fronts of its face pointing at each other in protection of a mouth with many layers. The rest of its body were covered in smaller versions of the blades red-toned, and it stood with violet legs ready to attack.
Snowum, only having its head on the field left, released a white mist from its mouth surrounding it and making the temperature decrease. After a few moments, it showed Snowum with a full body again.
“How did you do that?” asked Gonzap. “It was about to die out!”
“That attack allows me to regenerate the rest of my Snowum, as long as any other special abilities and effects are negated for three turns, but I don’t really have any!”
“Well since your Black Steam is gone, my Braniac gets back its Special Attack, and I’m not so scared of your Snowum, so now Kuwagata, destroy it with Metal Crusher! Braniac, this time go and use your Physical Morale to give Kuwagata a boost!”
This time Braniac glowed yellow to give Kuwagata Attack and Speed, then the bug came charging in to attack the Snowum- shattering the bottom two layers of it with two moves.
“There’s no way your Snowum’s going to survive next round, due to the team-damaging attacks you use, and the fact that it’s slower than your other allies,” pointed out Gonzap.
“Well then that means its just going to have to go down, now doesn’t it? Use Volcanic Crater and teach them both a lesson!”
Stovoil made quakes appear in the ground, even though they didn’t damage anybody until lava vaulted out of the cracks, hitting all Pokémon in sight and knocking out Snowum. Even though Braniac was a Water-type it couldn’t take anymore, so it fainted. Kuwagata was a Bug and Steel, making the damage it would have taken from Fire-types x4, but for some reason, it stayed there without having a dent.
“Return Snowum, you useless pile of snow.” Gorigan pounded his chest.
“Come back, Braniac, you did a great job.”
“How did that Kuwaga-thing of yours survive when it was hit directly? It’s a Bug and Steel so it should have been like a bug Pokémon to a candle!”
“I guess you forgot about the use of items, my friend.” Gonzap pointed over to an armor Kuwagata was wearing. “As you can see, when a Pokémon or human wears the Black Beetle Armor, they are protected against Fire and Ice.” The armor was black and shaped like a beetle, hidden behind the back where it couldn’t be seen in the front.
“That was so useless it’s scary, so go Urmsteel- you’ll feel the true power of Earthquake after this!” Gorigan sent out Steel and Ice Pokémon shaped looking like an igloo, except the ice was made out of steel and the face was that of a turtle. It was rather large and made huge sounds when it roared on the field, releasing an icy breath.
“I’m down to my last one, so go Madplash!” Gonzap sent out a bulky water type standing up with a long tail and body decorated with bubbles of different colors. It had whiskers on its face and an angry look as it flexed its muscles ending to the long run of sharp nails scratching its red looped ears with pink bubble shapes on them.
“There’s been something different about you in your way of attacking ever since this battle started, but who cares…Urmsteel, Wrecking Ball! Stovoil, Protect!”
A huge wrecking ball- the kind you would use for construction working, materialized above the field and fell with extreme speed, and Stovoil put up a green shield to protect itself from the attack. When the wrecking ball fell, Urmsteel wasn’t damaged much due to it being a Steel-type, and Madplash took in a lot of pain but still managed to get up and brush the attack off. Stovoil somehow fainted even though it used Protect.
“Now what did you do to my Pokémon?!” complained Gorigan. “Protect should have guarded my Stovoil against my own move!”
“Maybe you shouldn’t have used the new Pokémon Nebula gave you, they’re making an awful fool of you,” explained Gonzap. “It’s hard to believe that I know more about Pokémon you have than you do yourself, but the power of Wrecking Ball automatically pierces through any guards, like Protect, Reflect and Light Screen. Turns out this little Earthquake plan of yours is turning into a total disaster, and thanks to that, we now have the same number of Pokémon left, so go.”
“As if you would care about me…” Gorigan returned his Stovoil, pounding his chest as he took out another PokéBall and threw it. “My last and best Pokémon’s about to come out, and you can guess what kind it’s going to be…Go Saberator!” A dragon Pokémon came out with many sharp blades on its tails and scattered as patterns all over its body came out with its body parts whipping around in motions ready to destroy the others, and wings transparent except for the sword markings on it. It had teeth hissing out symmetrically like a wolf, and roared out loud with a screech of the metal on its tail.
“Nothing seems so special about that Pokémon.”
“Besides being a Shadow, it has one of the most powerful special abilities ever! As you can see, the most pre-evolved form of this is Sharpoile, who can already make duplicates of itself to attack enemies, and Daggerator its middle form takes that to the next level by making illusions out of things it sees, but Saberator can make real copies of another person’s Pokémon, and being a lucky Shadow, same goes for the copies.”
“First of all, you already attacked, so it’s time for me to show you what you meant by how I was attacking differently. Now Kuwagata and Madplash, use Hyper Beam!”
Both Hyper Beams were fired and targeted Saberator- however; they were redirected from some kind of pull and hit Urmsteel. Even though it was a Steel-type, the force of both attacks from strong Pokémon was good enough to knock it out.
“Now you only have one Pokémon left, and you’re down for the count, but how did you manage to redirect my Hyper Beams? They would have knocked out your Saberator.”
“Exactly- I couldn’t let something like that happen to my Pokémon, so I activated the special ability of Urmsteel, Arm Magnet, allowing me to redirect your attacks to it. And you are down for the count- Saberator, Shadow Mirror!”
Saberator summoned two mirrors from the ground and they casted identical images of Kuwagata and Madplash, suddenly jumping out of the glass and attacking the real ones, knocking Kuwagata out this time for real and leaving Madplash alone. The mirror clones shattered after the attack.
“Return Kuwagata, good job. Madplash, use Bubble Stream on Saberator.
“Use Shadow Mirror again.”
Copies of Vileplume, Rafflsite, Braniac, Electrode and Kuwagata appeared to defend Saberator, and all of them were destroyed by Madplash’s Bubble Stream.
“There has to be a way to get around them…by how…?”
“Shadow Mirror again, and this time for the members of our team!”
Five mirrors rose from the ground, and each one showed a face of Gorigan’s current team- Gligar, Slowomni, Snowum, Stovoil and Urmsteel. They all attacked including Saberator on the one Madplash, but Gonzap was confident.
“You fell right into my trap- Counter!”
“Oh no! I can’t do anything to stop that!”
All of the copies shattered into pieces the moment they touched Madplash, and Saberator didn’t stop, getting knocked out for the force it would have done.
“Can you take me back?!”
